NFL Week 13 Game Previews Seattle Seahawks at Dallas CowboysSeahawks vs. Cowboys Week 13 Game Preview Top NFC wild card contenders clash in Dallas to open up Week 13 Thursday night as the Cowboys host the Seahawks . The Cowboys are on a 13-game home winning streak and sit comfortably in the fifth spot in the NFC with an 8-3 record. Seattle is at 6-5, which is good for sixth in the NFC, but the pressure is ramping up as the Packers and Rams are threatening to enter the playoff picture at 5-6. Both teams played on Thanksgiving as the Cowboys routed the Commanders, 45-10, and the Seahawks lost at home to the 49ers, 31-13.Seahawks vs. Cowboys Injury Report Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique), the most notable name on their injury report is doubtful. Defensive end Leonard Williams (ankle) and tight end Will Dissly (hip) are questionable. The Cowboys did not list any players on the injury report. Linebacker Micah Parsons did not practice on Tuesday due to an illness, but he’s expected to play on Thursday according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter .Seahawks vs. Cowboys Matchups to Watch Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf vs. Cowboys CB DaRon Bland: Metcalf continues to lead the Seahawks in receiving yards with 678, but he has only scored one touchdown in his last six games. The Seahawks will need to get him going to stay in a playoff spot. However, it won’t be easy as he’s likely to draw some matchups from the new king of the pick-six. Bland set an NFL record for interceptions returned for a touchdown in a single season, taking back his fifth of the year vs. the Commanders on Thanksgiving. Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon vs Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb: Lamb continues to play outstanding football as Dak Prescott’s top target. He has a TD in three straight games and has caught at least four passes in every game. Witherspoon, last April’s fifth overall pick, leads the Seahawks in pass breakups with 14 and he’s Pro Football Focus’ No. 5 cornerback with a grade of 85.5 .Seahawks vs. Cowboys Week 13 How to Watch Denver Broncos at Houston TexansBroncos vs. Texans Week 13 Game Preview No team in the NFL is hotter than the Denver Broncos, who have won five in a row to surge back into the AFC playoff race at 6-5. They are coming off a convincing 29-12 win at home vs. the Cleveland Browns . The Texans are also 6-5, but they dropped out of a playoff spot after losing at home to the Jaguars in their last game, 24-21. They had won three in a row prior to losing to their AFC South rival.Broncos vs. Texans Injury Report The most notable name on Denver’s injury report on Wednesday was wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who did not practice due to a groin injury. But Broncos coach Sean Payton said that he believes Jeudy will be fine . Houston’s injury report, however, was much larger on Wednesday. Among the players who did not practice were wide receiver Tank Dell (calf), left tackle Laremy Tunsil (knee), safety Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and tight end Dalton Schultz (hamstring).Broncos vs. Texans Matchups to Watch Broncos LT Garett Bolles vs. Texans DE Jonathan Greenard: Bolles has been a mainstay of the Broncos offensive line since he was drafted in 2018. He has particularly been good in pass protection, with a grade of 83.0 according to PFF . Greenard flew under the radar after the Texans drafted Will Anderson Jr. third overall. But he leads the Texans with seven sacks and he is one away from tying his career record. Broncos CB Patrick Surtain II vs. Texans WR Nico Collins: While much of the hype around the Texans receiver corps has focused on rookie star Tank Dell, Collins is actually C.J. Stroud’s top target this season. Collins leads the Texans in both receptions (50) and yards (800), and he has five touchdowns. I spotlighted Surtain as the potential matchup because he has more size, which could make him a better matchup for the 6-4, 215-pound Collins. Surtain, who is 6-2, leads the Broncos with nine pass breakups this season.Broncos vs. Texans Week 13 How to Watch San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles Last year’s NFC Championship Game between these two teams in Philadelphia was marred by an early injury to 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy. He suffered a torn UCL. But Purdy was forced to finish the game because backup Josh Johnson suffered a concussion and was severely limited because of the injury. The Eagles won that game, 31-7. The Eagles have the top record in the NFL at 10-1 and are coming off a thrilling 37-34 overtime win vs. the Bills. The 49ers are 8-3 and last played on Thanksgiving, when they beat the Seahawks in Seattle, 31-13. Two of the 49ers top linemen did not practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot) was held out as was left tackle Trent Williams, who was given a rest day. Right guard Spencer Burford was a limited participant with a knee injury. The Eagles held a walkthrough on Wednesday and as a result, they posted a simulated injury report. Among those they listed as players who would not have practiced included defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (groin), linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring) and tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm).
