Nick Saban's wife sends strong four word statement to Deion Sanders after College GameDay pick by Alabama legend

NICK SABAN left his wife stunned as the pair shared their predictions for Gameweek 5.

The Alabama legend has taken on a new role this season as an analyst for College GameDay .

He was joined on the show at the weekend by his wife Terry, who he has been married to for over 50 years.

And it appears his knowledge of College Football has rubbed off on his other half as they butted heads while predicting the result of UCF's visit to Colorado Buffaloes.

Saban, 72, shared his view of what would happen in the game and predicted the result saying: "UCF's gonna run the ball, shrink the game, limit Colorado's opportunities, I'm going with UCF."

Tha sparked a huge gasp from Terry, who was shocked her husband went against UCF coach Deion Sanders , who is a friend of the couple.

An incredulous Terry hit back, saying: "Against our good friend Deion, really?

"He texted you earlier this week and said what a good job you're doing."

Terry then sent a strong message to her friend Deion while putting her thumbs up.

She continued: "I got your back, Deion. Colorado!"

Terry had the last laugh as her pal Deion masterminded a brilliant victory for Buffaloes.

They raced into a 27-14 lead at half-time and never looked back, scoring two more touchdowns in the third quarter.

UCF had no reply and the match ended 48-21 to the Buffaloes to justify Terry's pick.

The Buffaloes boast a 4-1 record this season and have posted some big scores in their wins.

A lot of their success has been down to Shedeur Sanders , who is coach Deion's son.

He has produced 11 touchdowns and 1,340 yards, throwing just two interceptions while wide receiver Travis Hunter has recorded at least seven receptions and 100 receiving yards in every game this season.

But Saban overlooked their attributes - a rare misstep for the man who won seven national championships in a storied career.

Six of them came with Alabama as Saban created one of the great dynasties.

Saban went to Alabama from the Miami Dolphins in 2007, and it proved to be a match made in heaven.

The 72-year-old retired in January, and made it very clear how much his time with the team meant to him and wife Terry .

"The University of Alabama has been a very special place to Terry and me," Saban said.

"We have enjoyed every minute of our 17 years being the head coach at Alabama as well as becoming a part of the Tuscaloosa community.

"It is not just about how many games we won and lost. It's about the legacy and how we went about it. We always tried to do it the right way."
