Nicole Kidman's niece Lucia Hawley goes for a morning swim at Bondi Beach with her boyfriend Henry Poole after her grandmother Janelle's death

Lucia Hawley took a morning swim at Bondi Beach on Monday after losing her beloved grandmother Janelle earlier this month.

The 26-year-old daughter of former TV presenter Antonia Kidman and niece of Nicole Kidman wore a blue one shoulder bikini and wrapped her bottom half in a towel as she emerged from the sea with her beau Henry Poole.

Henry had his own towel slung over his shoulder and walked shirtless on the clear spring morning.

Both went barefoot and held hands as they returned to their car and got on with their day.

Earlier this month, Lucia joined her mother Antonia, 54, and Henry as she visited her grandmother's home after the matriarch passed away aged 84.

Her partner Henry didn't leave her side and appeared to lend a helping hand by carrying a rubbish bag of empty plastic containers.

Lucia's mother Antonia was also seen visiting her late mother Janelle's home in Sydney earlier in September, carrying a bouquet of flowers from the property.

The family's loved ones have flocked around the Kidman clan during the difficult time.

Nicole, 57, was forced to leave Venice Film Festival after the devastating news.

Her mother Janelle died just hours before Nicole was awarded Best Actress for her role in Babygirl on the final day of Venice Film Festival.

'Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed,' Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn upon her win.

'I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.

'I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heart-breaking, and my heart is broken. We love you all.'
