Seven different players scored a touchdown for Bergen Catholic, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, as it struck early and often in a 63-7 victory over Pope John in Sparta.

Najee Calhoun scored the first two touchdowns for Bergen Catholic (3-1) with runs of 19 and 17 yards in the opening quarter. Dante Kain followed with a 31-yard TD run, the first of two scores he had on the day Dominic Campanile closed out the first quarter with 34-yard TD pass to Ohio State commit Quincy Porter.

In the second quarter, Campanile, who is committed to play Holy Cross, threw TD passes to Kain (8 yards) and John Morris (15), while also adding a 17-yard TD run of his own.

Faheem Ausbon and Edward Stoker added second half rushing touchdown, the first of their respective careers, for Bergen Catholic.

Campanile completed 14-of-16 passes for 149 yards in the win with Porter catching four passes for 58 yards and Anthony Perrotti adding six receptions for 40 yards.

Ten different players had at least one carry for Bergen Catholic, which ran for 206 yards as a team and was led by Calhoun's 65 yards on eight carries.

For Pope John (1-3), Luke Irwin threw a 32-yard TD pass to Peyton Fox that made it 42-7 in the second quarter. In defeat, Tylik Hill ran 14 times for 60 yards caught four passes for 20 yards.
