North Canton Police officers save deer stuck in fence

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) - The North Canton Police officers rescued a deer from a fence Saturday morning. According to a post on the North Canton Police Department's Facebook, at around 8:37 a.m. Ofc. Knam and Sgt. Buzzard saved a deer stuck in a fence. Knam is "no stranger to rescuing animals," according to the post. Knam is known in the department as the duck recovery expert for how often he is on duty when ducklings fall into storm drains, the post said. "You never quite know what the day holds in this profession," the post said.
