North Scott school district to receive Mental Health Matters Award

North Scott schools are set to receive the Mental Health Matters Award at the annual Bethany for Children and Families Community Celebration on Nov. 1.
The award recognizes the district's ongoing efforts to promote student mental health services and prioritize mental well-being within its schools.
"We are grateful to Jennifer Giudici from Bethany for nominating our district for this prestigious award," a North Scott press release said.
The Community Celebration will take place at The Stern Center in Rock Island, beginning with cocktails and dinner at 6 p.m.
North Scott invited community members to attend and join in celebrating people and organizations that "contribute to the vibrancy of our community."
