Northeast Indiana NOW holds ‘Get Out The Vote’ rally at Allen County Courthouse Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Northeast Indiana NOW held a 'Get Out The Vote' rally at the Allen County Courthouse Saturday in coordination with the Women's March events being held throughout the country.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., community members came together on the courthouse lawn encouraging both women and men to vote.

After the rally, those in attendance were invited to canvas throughout the Summit City and contact voters via phone, encouraging everyone to get out and vote before or on election day.

Early in-person voting in Allen County will be available at the Rousseau Center and four satellite locations (Ivy Tech Coliseum Campus, Indiana Wesleyan, Public Safety Academy, and Salomon Farm) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The last day for early, in-person voting in Allen County will be Monday, November 4 at the Rousseau Center only from 8 a.m. until noon.

On Election Day, which is Tuesday, November 5, in-person voting will happen from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at designated polling locations.

In addition to its 'Get Out The Vote' rally, Northeast Indiana NOW is offering free Uber rides to and from polling locations to Allen County voters during remaining early voting and Election Day hours.
