CLEVELAND, Ohio - Get ready for a bit of chilly weather this weekend.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs in the low 50s on Friday, only reaching the mid 40s for much of Northeast Ohio on Saturday and Sunday. On the plus side, there’s no rain in the weekend forecast and we should see a bit of sunshine. Overnight lows will dip into the 30s each night with partly cloudy skies expected.

Lake Erie marine forecast

Conditions will remain mostly cloudy on the lake throughout the weekend with a chance of showers on Saturday. Highs should hover at or above 50 throughout the weekend with overnight lows only dropping into the upper 40s. Wave heights should drop from the 3-4 foot range Friday night to a foot or less for the rest of the weekend. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m. Friday night as some local areas could see winds push waved heights as high as 5-8 feet. Current Lake Erie water temp off Cleveland is 55 degrees.

Work week forecast

Get ready for more sunshine to kick off next week. Monday will see highs around 53 and Tuesday’s highs will reach the upper 40s. Both nights will see lows in the mid 30s.
