MIDLAND, Mich. (WNEM) - The ribbon has been cut as Northwood University kicks off Global Entrepreneurship Week. On Monday, Nov. 18, students and staff celebrated the relaunch of the NU Idea Center on Main Street in Midland. The space is committed to hosting programming and events that contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity for the university, community, and the public. "In the Idea Center, we have a podcast studio that also has video capability. We have 3D printers, we have a laser engraver cutting tool for whether you want to engrave into an object or maybe you want to cut out some vinyl stickers. We have a photography studio, plenty of co-working space," said Patrick McElgunn, director of the Alden B. Dow Center for Creativity & Enterprise. Northwood will continue celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week with several workshops to help you with your start-up idea and building your own brand.
