Nutley ShopRite Will Reopen After 'Extensive Renovations' ShopRites in Belleville and Kearny will also be offer special promotions to celebrate the Nutley store's grand reopening.NUTLEY, NJ — A grand reopening event will be held for the newly renovated ShopRite of Nutley at 437 Franklin Avenue this weekend.
The store will be marking the completion of "extensive renovations" with a full week of festivities including food samplings, giveaways, raffles and special promotions from Nov. 10 through Nov. 17, according to a news release from Wakefern Food Corp.
There will be a grand reopening and ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Here's what to expect, ShopRite spokespeople said:
"LoCurcio Family Markets, a third-generation family-owned grocery business, completed a six-month long renovation that transformed every part of the store, especially the produce and prepared foods departments. Those fresh food areas now offer expanded selections of organic produce, authentic international foods and products, sushi, a full-service deli with made-to-order sandwiches, and a variety of freshly prepared grab-and-go recipes and meals made in-store and marked with the "LoCurcio Family Markets" label. The team also introduced store-made pizzas and an international cheese department as part of the renovation. The state-of-the-art supermarket also features a fresh, modern design storewide with updated floors, walls, endcaps, LED lighting and new refrigerated cases that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.""We're thrilled to offer our customers an enhanced shopping experience with an even wider selection of produce, fresh foods, family recipes and new specialty departments," said Carol LoCurcio, who owns and operates the ShopRite of Nutley along with her family.
"Our grocery business has been a part of Nutley's history for nearly 70 years, and we're proud to continue serving our neighbors with a beautifully renovated store and renewed commitment to the community," LoCurcio said.
"We cannot thank our loyal customers enough for their patience during the renovation process," LoCurcio added. "We wanted to make sure we could continue to deliver the very best shopping experience, especially when it comes to fresh prepared meals, and we are excited to offer favorite and new recipes under our LoCurio Family Markets name."
In addition to the Nutley celebration, ShopRites in Belleville and Kearny, which are also owned by LoCurcio Family Markets, will offer special promotions during the week of Nov. 10 to mark the milestone at Nutley.
