NYC hiring: More entry-level jobs with starting salaries over $50K

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Whether you are looking to pivot into a new career, or just graduated college, New York City government is always hiring.

It's also willing to give you a starting salary of over $50,000 if you're offered the job. In addition, some of these jobs don't require you to take a civil service exam .

NYC hiring: Entry-level jobs that will pay you $60,000 and over

An analyst role is open in the Officer of Management and Budget. You'll be looking into the Department of Housing Preservation and Development's budget, analyzing finances for real estate, reviewing capital requests and more.

The starting salary for the role is $58,851 and goes up to $84,257 depending on experience.

The Bronx District Attorney's Office is also seeking a trial preparation assistant . The responsibilities include prepping case documents for trial, drafting legal documents and other court preparations.

The salary ranges from $51,500 to $69,709.

The Department of Design and Construction wants a contract manager to review contracts, manage procurements and other general document management. Whoever gets asked to fill the role could be offered anywhere from $60,889 to $70,022.
