The American star will perform in the outdoor venue of Marlay Park on Tuesday, 24 June 2025. The three-time Grammy award-winning singer has been compared to Paramore's Hayley Williams and mentor Taylor Swift and will be bringing her GUTS World Tour to Dublin. Tickets are due to go on general sale on Ticketmaster at 8am this Friday, November 15. The prices range from €89.90 / €119.90 and are subject to the 12.5 pc Ticketmaster service charge. Indie-pop singer Beedaboodee will be the opener. Rodriguo played two sold out shows in Dublin's 3Arena last April as a part of her GUTS world tour and wore sequined shirts that read "Every man I like is Gaelic" and "Guinness is Good 4 U" during her performances. Marlay Park has a capacity of over 40 '000 people. The GUTS World Tour began on February 23, 2024 in Palm Desert and is set to conclude on July 1, 2025 in Manchester. The 98 shows were supported by various acts such as The Breeders, Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf and Benee and was attended by 1.4 million people. On October 29, the GUTS World Tour film was released on Netflix and documents two August tour dates at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The movie was well-received with the Telegraph saying it is proof of the "reigning princess of pop laying claim to her throne". The artist has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since the record-breaking release of her single Drivers License, which spent nine weeks at No 1 in Ireland and her first album Sour. The combination of love ballads and pop-rock social commentary has made her an indispensable member in the resurgence of female-led pop music. Rodrigo is notable for her outspoken politics and championing of bodily autonomy during her shows. Until March 2024, the singer's management partnered with the National Network Of Abortion Funds and handed out free contraceptive care to her audience during her concerts. While this initiative has been discontinued she continues to be vocal about politics, recently removing her song Deja Vu from the social media platform Tik Tok after President-elect Donald Trump used it after his victory. "Ew don't use my sound ever again ty", the singer wrote.
