KILLEEN, Texas — One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Killeen on July 6, according to the Killeen Police Department .
Killeen PD stated officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of E Central Texas Expressway around 3:57 a.m.
Police stated they believe a red Pontiac sedan was traveling at "high speed" when it veered off the roadway, rolling several times before coming to a stop. Police said the driver, a 31-year-old man, was killed in the accident.
Police have not released the name of the driver while next of kin is notified.
KPD said the Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
