One employee dead after masked suspects open fire on luxury clothing store
SAN ANTONIO - One employee is dead after masked suspects opened fire on a clothing store.
Around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the scene of a shooting in progress at the corner of San Pedro and West Hermine Boulevard, just north of downtown.
When police arrived, they found a luxury clothing store with shattered windows and one employee with several gunshot wounds.
That employee, a man in his early 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the shooting.
Police say that witnesses near the scene told them that three masked suspects arrived at the scene in a dark grey SUV, exited the vehicle, and began opening fire on the storefront.
Investigators are still searching for a motive in the shooting, as nothing appeared to be stolen from the location.
The business sustained major damages, with shattered windows and bullet holes across the building.
The suspects remain at large, as police do not have a license plate number for the vehicle.
