One man dead following homicide in Kansas City, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is investigating following a shooting that left one person dead in the 1000 block of Kansas Avenue.

KCKPD reports that around 3:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area near 10th and Kansas Ave. on reports of a shooting. When responding officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene and is yet to be identified.
The incident is under investigation by KCKPD Major Case Unit.
