Among those is Osaka's boyfriend Corade, who recalled his bond with the legendary record producer, and highlighted how one of the biggest highlights of his life came alongside Jones. Taking to his Instagram Story, Cordae shared a video of himself with the late musician from an interview. Captioning the video, he wrote, "Rest in power to the Great Quincy Jones," In a subsequent story, he shared a screenshot from his album, "The Lost Boy," which was released in 2019, and the vocals in which were given by Jones. Captioning the story, Cordae wrote, "One of my life highlights is that Quincy was the narrating voice throughout The Lost Boy." But Cordae is not the only person to have offered an emotional tribute to the legend . Soon after the news broke, more artists like LL COOL J, Victoria Monét, Ice-T, David Guetta, and Tyler, the Creator resonated with similar sentiments. Will Smith too, joined the fray and acknowledged that Jones came into his life like a "father" and a "role model." Coming back to Naomi Osaka and her boyfriend, the album featuring Jones was equally loved by the tennis star.When Naomi Osaka expressed her admiration for 'The Lost Boy' Naomi Osaka and Cordae started dating in 2019 after the tennis player confirmed their relationship in April. Since then, the couple have expressed great admiration for each other and also welcomed their daughter, Shai, in July last year. With the release of 'The Lost Boy' in July 2019, the star player could not keep her enthusiasm intact and opened up about her admiration during an interview. In an interaction with Tennis Channel's Prakash Amritraj during the Cincinnati Masters that year, Osaka was quizzed about the kind of music she listens to on her headphones. While the host clarified that the player was under no compulsion to answer that question, Osaka did not hesitate to respond. The former world no.1 said that she mainly listens to Japanese songs, and added: "There is this new album that came out. It's called 'The Lost boy' and you should listen to it.' It is the same album that has continued to remain special for her boyfriend Cordae.
