Online foodie fundraiser promotes Les Dames’ mission of supporting women

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International is holding its Out of the Box fundraiser to raise money for the non-profit organization that supports women in the culinary and hospitality fields. Proceeds benefit the organization’s scholarships and grants fund. Dozens of donated online auction items cover a range of culinary experiences and gifts: Private dinners, gift-card packages from local restaurateurs like Dante Boccuzzi and Rocco Whelen and more are featured. Items include a gardening table, baking mixes, spices, books, wine, pasta, honey and more. The organization’s Cleveland chapter awards scholarships to women enrolled in culinary schools in Ohio and grants to local organizations making an impact in the food community.
