Oregon Zoo is celebrating Sea Otter Awareness Week. Here’s 3 ways you can protect them, too

It's the biggest week of the year for Juno, Lincoln and Uni Sushi — the Oregon Zoo's three resident sea otters — and marine animal lovers across Portland are invited to join in on the fun.

The zoo will celebrate Sea Otter Awareness Week Sept. 22-28 with a full slate of otter-themed games and conversations spotlighting some of the ocean's most charismatic creatures. Volunteers and zoo staff will be available to chat at the marine life area from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday, Sept. 23-27. At 12:45 p.m. each day, guests will get the chance to watch Juno, Lincoln and Uni Sushi in all their friendly, fishy glory at one of the zoo's daily keeper talks.
