SUNDAY, SEPT. 22

• Governor Dick seniors hike: The Golden Eagle hikers will meet for a slower-paced 2- to 3-mile hike starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna. Call 717-964-3808 or email to register, or visit parkatgovernordick.org for additional information.

Hikes for public, led by Lancaster Hiking Club:At 1 p.m. (departure at about 1:15 p.m.), meet at Buchanan Park, on the corner of Race and Buchanan avenues, Lancaster, for a hike at Lancaster Junction Trail. For information, go online at lancasterhikingclub.com .

• Lancaster County Bird Club: For the Ironville Park Raptor Watch, participants should meet at 9:30 a.m. at Ironville Community Park, 711-725 Prospect Road, Columbia. Bring chairs and a lunch. The site has public restrooms and a pavilion. Target species will include broad-winged hawk, American kestrel, osprey, bald eagle and sharp-shinned hawk. The watch will continue until the flight ends. Feel free to come and go as you wish. Binoculars are needed and a spotting scope is helpful. • Quittapahilla Audubon Society: The group will participate in the "Birding on the Habitat Hayride" as part of the Middle Creek Outdoor Explorer Series. Seating is first-come, first served for this free event. Numerous hayrides will be offered throughout the day, beginning at 11 a.m., but the event will be canceled in the event of rain. • Southern Lancaster County Farmers-Sportsmen's Association: A 3-D archery shoot will be held at the club, 742 Hollow Road, New Providence. The course set up has three shooting postions at each target. Shoots will have 30-35 targets. The distances are Youth - 0-20 Yards, Hunter - 0-35 yards and Pro - 0-50 yards. The Cost for adults is $10. Youth 17-and-younger are free with a paying adult. Sign up is from 7:30-11 a.m. No crossbows allowed.
