Willow Station Chistmas Open House

Willow Station in Henderson will host a Christmas Open House from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7-9, at 10 Henderson North Road, Henderson. Discover unique Christmas decor, home items, clothing and food at our seasonal store, featuring treasures from local vendors like Julie Olsen, Backyard Blooms and Valencia Boutique!

Crossroads Junk & Vintage Holiday Market

The Crossroads Junk & Vintage Holiday Market is planned for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. The Crossroads Junk & Vintage Holiday Market features vendors from across the region specializing in seasonal vintage, antiques, re-purposed, up-cycled, wood, architectural salvage, metal, primitives, etc. The market is also allowing quality handmade goods, baked goods and new non-vintage vendors, perfect for holiday gift giving, upon approval from event staff (crafters, artists, etc.). Don't worry about the weather, the entire show is indoors! Its location at the crossroads of I-80 and Highway 81 provides quick and easy access for vendors and customers arriving from all directions. Quilts of Valor

The William Sullivan American Legion Auxiliary Unit 218 will present six Quilts of Valor at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Exeter Legion. All Legion members and residents of surrounding communities are invited to attend. Unit 218 will host a reception following the ceremony. Nov. 10 is also the 105th anniversary of the formation of the American Legion Auxiliary of the United States.

York American Legion Post 19 Veterans Day Slum Feed

Join the York American Legion for the Veterans Day Slum Feed at the York National Guard Armory. Doors open at 10 a.m. with coffee and rolls, followed by a moment of silence, a slum feed at noon and a Veterans Day program at 1 p.m. The Slum Feed menu, is reminiscent of food served to the troops during earlier wartimes.

HGRM celebration banquet

Hope Gospel Rescue Mission will host its annual celebration banquet, at 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, at the Holthus Convention Center. Keynote speaker will be Ron Brown, director of player support and outreach from the University of Nebraska. Admission is free but RSVPs are needed to ensure adequate food is prepared.
