Palau's Sons of Sureor provided local food for Traditional Leaders Forum

KOROR, Palau – The Sons of Sureor, Koror's young man organization, collaborated with the Palau Council of Chiefs to provide locally sourced food for the evening reception of the 2nd Traditional Leaders Forum held in Koror.

Through the High Chief Ibedul Alexander Merep, the Sons of Sureor coordinated a fishing expedition to procure fish for the meal. The organization also partnered with the Ngara Maiberel women's association of Koror to prepare a traditional dish of fish and taro for the attending leaders.

The Sons of Sureor's contribution was funded by a Non-Communicable Diseases Grant administered through the National Coordinating Mechanism and the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
