The 8th Annual Hats Off Nonprofit Awards has been rescheduled to October 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center.

The ceremony celebrates nonprofits in Palm Beach County dedicated to making the community a better place to live and work.

This year's honorary chairs are Palm Beach County Commissioner Greg Weiss and Rebecca Weiss.

New this year is the Legacy of Giving Award, presented to individuals or organizations who have demonstrated exceptional generosity and commitment to philanthropy.

Town of Palm Beach Mayor Danielle Moore will accept the award on behalf of The Fortin Foundation.

"Celebrating the accomplishments of nonprofit causes, their leaders, staff, and volunteers is essential, as it not only honors their dedication and hard work but also inspires others to join the fight for a better world," says Nonprofits First CEO Trudy Crowetz. "A record-breaking 180 nominations for this year's Hats Off Nonprofit Awards reflect the importance of recognizing our nonprofit community."

Guests are encouraged to wear a hat, big or small, and can be as creative as they wish. Awards for Best Hat and the People's Choice will be voted on by attendees and awarded the night of the event.
