A woman from Palm Beach County turned $50 into $1 million after buying a scratch-off ticket.
The Florida Lottery announced on Friday that Linda Johnson won the $1 million prize from the 500X The Cash scratch-off game.
The Palm Beach Gardens resident bought her ticket from Stop Wise at 9762 Gardens East Drive with a1-in-4.23 chance of winning a prize.

The 42-year-old chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000, according to lottery officials. The convenience store will also receive an additional $2,000 for selling the ticket.
