Paper Source Opens New Store In Encinitas

The stationery and gift retailer opened its doors Wednesday in Encinitas Ranch Town Center. The store, located at 1040 N El Camino Real Drive, brings the company back to San Diego's North County after the retailer closed its Carlsbad location in February 2022.

"We are happy to be a part of the seaside community in partnership with Barnes and Noble," Paper Source regional manager Marge Keller said. "This town is just a stone's throw away from our former location in Carlsbad, and customers have already been stopping by saying they were ready for us to be present again in this town."

The store features a wide selection of specialty paper, stationery, gifts and party supplies for every day, holidays and special occasions. Paper Source offers a dual membership program that allows customers to sign up in-store with rewards that can also be earned and redeemed at Barnes & Noble and BN.com .

"This location was chosen due to its proximity to the Barnes and Noble Encinitas store, which is in the same shopping center," Paper Source spokesperson Halle Wagner told Patch. "The partnership between the two stores will be an exciting new experience for our customers."

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. The store is holding a grand opening celebration on Saturday that will include free crafts, activities and more.

Paper Source has one other location in the San Diego area. The La Jolla store is at 8843 Villa La Jolla Drive, Suite 204.
