Parks teen arrested, accused of second-degree rape

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. () — A 17-year-old Parks resident was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with an alleged sexual assault, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office announced.

Da'iley Potier was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and faces one count of second-degree rape, which is a felony offense.

According to a news release, the sheriff's office received a complaint on Friday, Sept. 27., regarding a suspected sexual assault.
