Patricia Gail Horlocker passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on September 20, 2024. She was born on August 15, 1937 to Fred and Aldna Ufford in Vermillion, South Dakota.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Rex Horlocker; second husband Paul Sodt; and sister in law Judy Ufford.

She is survived by her brothers Wayne (Ally) Ufford and Keith Ufford; her children Randy (Terese) Horlocker, Kay (Larry) Letson, and Jon (Victoria) Horlocker; grandchildren Andrew (Holly) Letson, Adam (Cassie) Letson, Mark (Ashley) Horlocker, St. Agnes Pia (Kate) Horlocker, Sarah (Tyler) Ukestad, and Anna Horlocker; great - grandchildren Henry Letson, Lillian Letson, Jude Letson, Brynlee Horlocker, and Branston Horlocker.

Pat married Rex in 1956. They resided in Rochester, MN where they raised their three children. Rex passed away in 1990. Pat met Paul and they married in 2003, until Paul's passing in 2012.

Pat was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester, MN since 1964. She was an active member of the church choir, widows' group, and covenant group. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Community Food Response, and Methodist Hospital Auxiliary. Pat was also a member of Kiwanis Day Makers (previously president) in Rochester.

Pat loved music and was an accomplished pianist. She also learned how to play the pipe organ at her church and performed during services.

Pat had many hobbies including jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, collecting bears from her travels around the world, riding horses, and cheering on the Minnesota Twins. Her favorite hobby of all was supporting and loving her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always our #1 fan.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at the Christ United Methodist Church on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour before at the church. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Carver Ridge Senior Living.
