Pedestrian seriously injured in Trumbull crash

TRUMBULL, Conn. (WTNH) — Police report that a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Trumbull Saturday evening.
Multiple calls came in to police at 7:20 p.m. about a single vehicle hitting someone on Church Hill Road. Trumbull Police arrived on scene and rendered medical aid to the victim.
Trumbull EMS then arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Church Hill Road was closed between Quality Street and Main Street and Police expect it to remain closed for several hours.
The cause of the accident and full extent of the victim's injuries are unknown at this time.
