Pediatric dentistry practice with video games in its waiting rooms, opens third office

Advanced Pediatric Dentistry plans to open a new location in York County.

The practice opened in October at 1595 E. Market St. in Spring Garden Township, near York.

Advanced Pediatric Dentistry specializes in pediatric dentistry from routine cleanings to specialized treatments. The waiting rooms include Xbox games, arcade machines, and child-friendly décor. The practice performs most surgical procedures in the office.

"Our mission is to make every experience as positive and stress-free as possible, ensuring that children feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about taking care of their teeth. Our York location offers the same high standard of care and service that our parents have come to trust," Dr. Alan LaPratt of Advanced Pediatric Dentistry, said in a news release.

The company accepts most insurance.

Appointments: 717-697-5437. Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The practice also has offices in Susquehanna and Upper Allen townships.
