Jeffrey I. Gordon, director of the Edison Family Center for Genome Sciences and Biology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, received the 21st annual Nierenberg Prize from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. The prize is awarded for outstanding contributions to science in the public interest.

St. Louis-based commercial real estate developer The Staenberg Group welcomed Taylor Reich to its Mixed-Use Development & Operations team. Reich will work on Downtown Chesterfield development and the Hub STL.

The National Small Business Association named Robin Phillips to its Leadership Council. Phillips, CEO at Child Care Aware of Missouri, will join small business advocates from across the country to promote small business interests to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

Lumeris appointed David Carmouche as executive vice president and chief clinical transformation officer.

The Missouri Area Council of the Boys & Girls Club inducted longtime board member and advocate into the club's Hall of Fame.

St. Louis litigation firm Cordell & Cordell appointed Joseph P. Breda as chief executive partner.

Global construction firm Alberici promoted four executives in two of its enterprises at its St. Louis, Missouri, headquarters. Alberici Corporation promoted Greg Hesser to executive chairman of the board, and Richard Jaggers to president and CEO. Alberici Constructors promoted Jose Garcia to president, and Fred Biermann to chief operating officer.

Leading/Edge Missouri appointed Adam Marles, Lutheran Senior Services, as the 2024-2026 chair of the board; and Carmen Fronczak, Friendship Village Chesterfield, Missouri, as the organization's chair-elect.
