People on the move: Lewiston hospital hires OB-GYN

Dr. Sara Goldsholl is joining the Central Maine Medical Center as an OB-GYN. Goldsholl received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed her residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

Bates College has hired Kristen A. Lainsbury as its vice president for communications and marketing. Lainsbury previously worked at Earlham College in Indiana, where she held the same title. Before stepping into higher education, Lainsbury worked at the Bangor Daily News for 11 years. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Maine.

Michelle Ritcheson is now a senior vice president and senior credit officer at Katahdin Trust Co. Ritcheson has over 25 years of banking experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Bentley University.

InterMed has hired Lindsay Fitzgerald as its chief human resources officer. Fitzgerald has worked in human resources positions for more than 20 years. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Maine at Orono.

Britney Mitchell is the new director of admissions at the University of Southern Maine. Mitchell has worked at USM for nine years, most recently as senior associate director of transfer affairs. She has a master's degree in higher education administration from Bay Path University in Massachusetts.

United Insurance has promoted one person and hired three others. Jason Duval, who was a senior account executive, has been promoted to partner. Wanda Marston has been hired as a perosnal lines account manager at the company's Farmington location. Eden Paradis has been hired as an account executive in Fort Kent. Tania Adams is a new receptionist and administrative assistant in Rumford.

Thomas College has appointed Bob Moore to its Board of Trustees. Moore is the executive director of the Augusta Food Bank, and before that served as Thomas College's senior vice president of advancement. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Waterville college in 1979.
