DETROIT – David Perron has scored his share of goals throughout his 17-year NHL career by blasting in one-timers from the left flank on the power play.

He added two more to the list on Sunday, including goal No. 300, to lift the Detroit Red Wings past the Minnesota Wild 4-1 at Little Caesars Arena.

The Red Wings (11-6-3) have won three in a row, outscoring the opposition 13-3.

Two of those wins have come with Minnesota native Alex Lyon in net. The team’s No. 3 goalie at the start of the season made 37 saves to improve to 2-1. He has allowed only three goals in his three starts, recording seven shutout periods.

Shayne Gostisbehere tallied a goal and three assists. Dylan Larkin had a goal and an assist. He and Gostisbehere are tied for the team lead with 13 assists.

The Red Wings haven’t trailed at any point during this winning streak.

Perron’s milestone goal gave them a 3-1 lead at 1:21 of the third as he snapped in a one-timer from Gostisbehere’s feed after Larkin won the face-off.

The Red Wings have notched a pair of power-play goals in back-to-back games.

Gostisbehere scored into an empty net with 23 seconds remaining.

It was a fairly uneventful second period until Larkin carried the puck in the zone and followed up the rebound of his own shot to snap a 1-1 tie with 3:07 remaining.

He has scored a goal in three consecutive games and has eight for the season.

The Red Wings were by far the better team in the first period but the Wild managed to keep it at 1-1.

Perron scored on the game’s first shot, whipping in a one-timer on the power play at 4:06. Lucas Raymond made it happen with a nice move to elude a defender or two in the middle of the ice and set up Perron, who scored his sixth.

A late tripping penalty on Klim Kostin was costly as Kirill Kaprizov whipped in a shot from the slot with 12 seconds remaining.

The Red Wings visit the New York Rangers on Wednesday (7:30, TNT).
