Person seriously injured after shooting at an Uptown hotel

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person was transported to the hospital after a shooting at a hotel in Uptown Charlotte late Wednesday night.

Medic say that they were dispatched near the 400 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Video shows police cars and a fire truck outside of a hotel in Uptown.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No word yet from CMPD on what led up to the shooting or if anyone is facing charges.
