eter P. Krolewski, 77, of Main Road, Hanover Green section of Hanover
Township, died Friday at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center,
Plains Township.
Born March 30, 1924, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Dominic
and Helen Klimewski Krolewski. He was a graduate of Marymount High School,
Wilkes-Barre, class of 1942, and resided in Hanover Green for many years.
He was a member of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Buttonwood
section of Hanover Township. Before retiring, he was employed by the Muskin
Corp. and was formerly employed by the Knorr Corp., Kingston.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant
in the European Theater. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Sans
Souci Post, Hanover Township.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Adam and Carl; and sister, Ann
Olszewski.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the S.J. Grontkowski
Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. in the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church. Interment will be in St.
Mary’s Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m.
