Phoenixville police officer killed in crash is mourned at funeral service in Bucks
Hundreds of law enforcement colleagues, family and friends of Arthur E. "Artie" Scena IV, of Warminster, mourned the loss of the Phoenixville Police Officer at his life celebration at Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Buckingham Township, Bucks County. Scena, 39, was killed on Oct. 27 while riding a motorcycle home from a funeral of a friend. His 2021 Harley-Davidson was hit by a 2013 Kia during a crash in Warminster Township.
Scena was born in Abington and raised in Elkins Park. He leaves behind his wife, Amanda Marie, a young daughter, Reese, and a young stepdaughter, Riley Yeager. Scena was employed as a correctional officer for the Montgomery County jail and he worked as a police officer for the Philadelphia Housing Authority and the Chester City Police Department, prior to joining Phoenixville in 2019.
