Pickup truck driver dies more than a week after Florence County crash
(WBTW) — A person has died more than a week after their pickup truck crashed on Highway 52 near Florence, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck died Monday at a local hospital following the Oct. 27 crash, which happened at about 3:20 a.m. near W. Christy Lane, SCHP Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said. They were the only person in the truck when it went off the left side of the road while going north and hit a ditch and several trees.
