Pittsburgh Steelers have big plans for a Justin Fields package
D.Brown26 min ago
PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Steelers now have a fully healthy Justin Fields , who is still ailing with a hamstring injury. Fields' legs have not yet been used since Russell Wilson took the field, but the Steelers will not rule out the idea of using Fields. The ' Justin Fields package ' has been talked about for weeks. Head coach Mike Tomlin even said that the team would look into getting Fields into the offense with a package. "I would always anticipate seeing that as long as both guys are on our roster," he said on Tuesday. In other words, the team does plan to have some usage of Fields in there. The Steelers have the 30th ranked red zone offense, and that could be a spot where Fields ends up showing up to pop the efficiency for the Steelers. Against the New York Giants, it was a significant issue, as the Steelers' first three drives all ended up in field goals that had to be kicked after failed red zone trips.
