PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Steelers got some promising news on Thursday as some injury situations improved. Running back Najee Harris , who missed Wednesday's session with a rib injury, fully practiced on Thursday. Meanwhile, safety Damontae Kazee returned to practice for the first time in over a week after missing the team's game against the Las Vegas Raiders with an ankle injury.

Outside linebacker Alex Highsmith continued his trek back to playing, logging his first full practice since suffering a groin injury. Offensive tackle Dylan Cook returned to practice after missing the last two months with a lisfranc injury in his foot.

Running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), outside linebacker Nick Herbig (hamstring), and center Zach Frazier (ankle) all sat out of practice and are on track to miss the game against the Jets.

Tight end MyCole Pruitt, who has missed the last four games with a knee injury, should make his return this week. Pruitt suffered the injury against the Denver Broncos. Rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson popped up after suffering a hamstring injury during practice and was limited. The prognosis of his injury is unknown, but the team will evaluate it to see if he can suit up this week.
