Planned Nov. 20 scholarship open house cancelled; Scholarship open house scheduled for Feb. 26 at Barrett Memorial Library
A planned scholarship open house for West End students, slated for Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Walworth Memorial Library, has been cancelled.
The now cancelled open house event was a collaborative initiative by the Barrett Memorial Library in Williams Bay and the Walworth Memorial Library, in partnership with the guidance departments at Big Foot Union High School in Walworth and Williams Bay High School.
"I am sorry to say that we have had to cancel our scholarship open house for Nov. 20 at the Walworth Library," said Barrett Memorial Library Marketing Director Danielle Hudson. "I apologize for the change of direction."
Hudson said a scholarship open house will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 5-7 p.m. at the Barrett Memorial Library, 65 W. Geneva St. (State Hwy. 67), Williams Bay.
