Police ID person of interest in Attleboro shooting

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Attleboro police have released pictures of a person of interest who they believe was involved in a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon at a home on Oakland Ave.

The person is described as a white man, approximately 40-years-old a shaved head, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the word BOSTON across it, gray sweatpants and possibly carrying a gray or black backpack.

Police add that his first name may be Jay, but they have not been able to confirm that information at this time.

A 58-year-old man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for what's believed to be a gunshot wound suffered during the incident on Saturday .
