Police investigating after body found in Fountain

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - The Fountain Police Department said they responded to a report of a dead person found in Fountain on Monday around 6:45 p.m. Police said they responded to the 8000 block of Squirrel Creek Rd. where they found the body. Detectives from the Fountain Police Department were called to respond to the scene. Fountain investigators took over the case, and police said the body would not be identified until proper notifications have been made.
