Police investigating deadly shooting in Rockdale

ROCKDALE, Texas (KBTX) - Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one dead in Rockdale Saturday night. Rockdale police responded to a shots fired call at a home on the 400 block of East 4th Street just after 7 p.m. When they arrived they found Trevor Everage, 20, and Christopher Flores, 22, both with multiple gunshot wounds. They were both transported to the Rockdale Airport to be airlifted to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX, authorities say Flores did not survive his injuries. Police say this was a targeted incident and the result of a possible attempted robbery. Arrest warrants have been issued for an unnamed 16-year-old for capital murder, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
