Police investigating multiple 4th of July shootings in Boston

Fourth of July festivities ended in violence in the Greater Boston area Thursday night.

Officers were seen clearing up a scene Friday morning near Shawmut Avenue in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood after a shooting near Ramsey Park.

Boston EMS says one person was taken to the hospital.

Officers were seen searching for clues inside the perimeter, but it appeared they were also in the Lenox Apartment complex.

Over in Jamaica Plain, police were also investigating a scene on Centre Street not too far from the Jackson Square T station.

Boston EMS says there they took people to the hospital, but they didn't provide a specific number.

The conditions of all the people transported from both scenes are unknown at this time.
