Police on scene of shooting in Springfield Township

hio (WXIX) - There is a large police presence on the scene of a shooting right now in Springfield Township, Hamilton County dispatchers confirm.

It happened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday on Winton Road at North Bend Road.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired, a crashed vehicle and a person shot in the back and forehead who was not breathing, according to initial emergency communication reports.

Police immediately shut down Winton Road at North Bend Road.

FOX19 NOW has a crew headed to the scene and will continue to update this breaking story.
