Police Search For Brooklyn's Serial Gropers: NYPD In each incident an unknown person grabbed a woman from behind, officials said.

BROOKLYN, NY — The New York City Police Department is looking for four suspects connected to four different groping incidents in central and south Brooklyn, officials said on Thursday.

In each incident, which took place between September and November, an unknown person grabbed a woman from behind, officials said.

In the first incident, which happened on Sept. 9 at 5:43 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was jogging on East 42nd Street and Avenue I when a person approached her from behind, grabbed her on the buttocks, and then fled northbound on Albany Avenue, NYPD officials said.

Nearly a month later, on Oct. 17 at 5 p.m., a 37-year-old woman was walking in front of 862 East 49th St. when a person approached her from behind, slapped her on the buttocks, and then ran off, heading northbound on East 49th Street, according to the police.

Then, on Oct. 25 at 3:30 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was walking near 4801 Avenue D when a person approached her from behind, grabbing her by the buttocks. Then, the person ran away in an unknown direction, police said.

Most recently, on Nov. 2 at 5 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was walking just a few blocks away in front of 4516 Avenue D when a person grabbed her buttocks from behind and then ran away, heading westbound on Avenue D towards East 46th Street, police said.

These incidents are being investigated by the Brooklyn Special Victims Squad, and no arrests have been made yet, police said.
