Political Sign Vandalized, Nissan Stolen: Lower Makefield Crimes The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for Sept. 5 to Sept. 12.

These are the criminal incidents:

Sept. 12

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —100 block Mt. Eyre Road, reported at 9:11 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) vandalized their political sign.

Sept. 10

—4100 block of Waltham Court, reported at 2:59 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of an Amazon package from the front porch.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

  • Oxford Valley Road and Reading Avenue, reported at 5:58 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) vandalized the street sign.
  • Sept. 9

    CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —500 block of West Trenton Avenue at Tires Plus reported at 5:14 a.m. Police responded to an alarm at the location and found a broken window. No entry was made.

    FRAUD:

  • Unit block of Effingham Road, reported at 4:26 p..m. The complainant reported sending $15,000 to someone they thought to be from their bank to rectify a scam.
  • Sept. 7

    MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT —1500 block of Makefield Rd. reported at 12:15 p.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Nissan Armada, took the keys from inside and stole the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered in Trenton, N.J. on Sept. 8.

    Sept. 5

    —900 block of Kathy Drive, reported at 5:32 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a Cartier watch from the residence.
