Popular show returns to area for Funny Farm Comedy Club showing

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – A popular comedy show that has been traveling the country is back in the Valley.

"Couples Therapy" has roots in Youngstown. The two-person show stars Brandy Johanntges and John Cox who play married marriage counselors.

The show has been receiving rave reviews, and it is coming to the Funny Farm Comedy Club in Niles this weekend.

"This is an interactive comedy seminar. It's a fake marriage seminar that we provide, and it's based off Jason Tarr's stand-up comedy, so it's a little bit of us interacting with the audience, doing a little stand-up, little bit of sketch comedy, little bit of improv. We work with the audience, and they come back and give us stuff back, and we get to play with them for a nice, light night. Lotta fun, little but information but a lotta laughs," Cox said.

Tickets are available on Funny Farm Comedy Club's website . Shows are at 7 p.m. Friday and 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
