Power outage hits two polling locations in NE Ohio
(WJW) – The lights are back on for thousands of people in Cuyahoga County who lost power Tuesday.
FirstEnergy reported the outages lasted about an hour and were first reported shortly after 10 a.m.
The outages affected two polling locations, according to FirstEnergy:
Parma Elks Lodge
Parma Presbyterian Church
It also affected residents in Bedford Heights, Berea, Brook Park, Chagrin Falls Township, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, Euclid, Garfield Heights, Independence, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, North Royalton, Parma, Parma Heights, Strongsville and University Heights.

According to FirstEnergy, crews had to fix a piece of equipment at a substation that caused the outages.
They say their crews were in the vicinity of polling locations to respond to any problems quickly.
Power was restored to most everyone affected at about 11:20 a.m., said FirstEnergy.
