Margot Robbie showed off her blossoming baby bump while out with friends on Saturday night.

The actress, 34, donned a figure hugging blue maxi dress as she headed to The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, California .

The star added a black coat to her look which she draped over her shoulders, and a matching black bag.

She added to her chic look with a pair of low-heeled black sandals and kept her blonde locks loose.

Margot seemed to be in good spirits as she enjoyed a girls night out, heading out without her husband Tom Ackerley , 34.

Margot's recent outing comes as she and her film producer partner announced last week that they were producing The Sims movie .

Electronic Arts (EA), the company that has published the long-running video game franchise, formally announced the project on Tuesday, according to Variety.

Robbie and Acklerley, both 34, are producing through their LuckyChap Productions company.

EA's vice president and general manager of The Sims franchise Kate Gorman revealed on Tuesday that they want this film to have the same 'impact' as Robbie's mega-hit Barbie.

'What I will tell you is it's very much rooted in The Sims' universe. And what we want is to have a truly authentic 'Sims' experience brought to a theatrical release,' Gorman said.

'So what you'll see from us is that we have been wanting to get this right. We wanted the right partners and to make an impact the size of something like a Barbie movie is exactly what we want,' Gorman added.

Barbie - which Robbie both starred in and produced through her LuckyChap company - topped both the domestic ($636.2 million) and worldwide ($1.445 billion) box office charts last year.

Much like Barbie, The Sims is rooted in an iconic franchise, with the first video game debuting in 2000 and has since sold over 200 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time.

The star has continued to work throughout her pregnancy and earlier this month announced an exciting new career milestone.

After being an ambassador for Chanel for more than six years the Australian native is the new face of the French designer fashion house's most well-known fragrance Chanel N°5 .

The Barbie star has been an ambassador for Chanel since 2018 and was the face of Chanel Gabrielle perfume in 2019.

'I think Chanel N°5 is one of the most iconic fragrances in the world. It's incredible to be a part of it,' Margot said of her newest appointment.

'There's such an impressive lineage of women who've been associated with the fragrance over the years. I am very honoured to be joining that long list of incredible talents.'

Margot is following the footsteps of other notable stars like Marilyn Monroe and Brad Pitt, but she is not the first Australian actress to be the face of the iconic fragrance.

Nicole Kidman famously fronted the brand's perfume in her 2004 advertising film for Chanel N°5 'Le Film', which was directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Speaking with WWD, Margot added: 'I've just always known about Chanel N°5... It's iconic and an iconic brand.'
