The Princess of Wales looked effortlessly elegant as she attended a Sunday church service near Balmoral yesterday.

The royal, 42, was spotted in public for the first time since announcing she had completed chemotherapy .

The mother-of-three was pictured arriving at Crathie Kirk in the passenger seat of a 4X4 driven by Prince William .

The couple treated themselves to a weekend away in Scotland without their three children , who remained in Berkshire.

To attend church with her husband, King Charles and Queen Camilla , Kate turned to some of her old favourite wardrobe staples.

The future Queen was pictured wearing a dark brown tartan blazer by the Italian brand Blazé Milano.

The stylish jacket - which originally retailed for £1,2000 - has a nipped in waist and is made of virgin wool.

Kate owns several jackets by the designer label and was first pictured in this style in December 2021.

The royal wore the tartan blazer over a simple black roll neck yesterday and also donned a £109 hat by the British brand Hicks & Brown.

The £109 'Suffolk' hat - which comes in six shades - is adorned with orange feathers, which are secured into a brown leather band.

The Princess of Wales completed her elegant ensemble with some statement gold earrings by Cassandra Goad, which she has owned since 2011.

The three-strand chandelier earrings are from the London-based designer's 'Journey to China' collection over a decade ago.

The royal opted for her signature bouncy blow dry and was also pictured wearing a smokey brown eye and nude lip for church yesterday.

Yesterday was the first time the Princess has been seen in public since the good news that she has finished her course of preventative chemotherapy following her health scare earlier this year.

The Princess stressed that her health and staying 'cancer free' remain her priority, as does her young family.

She has announced she will begin to undertake a small number of public duties, and last week held her first major meeting at Windsor Castle of her Early Years initiative that was documented in the Court Circular.

The couple, who also visited Scotland over the summer with their family, will no doubt have revelled in the relaxed outdoors lifestyle the Royal Family enjoy on Royal Deeside.

It will also have given them the chance to catch up with Charles and Camilla ahead of their big tour to Australia and Samoa next month.
