The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men’s basketball team takes an 0-3 record and
Despite the losing record, the Mountain Lions have four players averaging
double figures, including Michael Patrick (14.6 points per game), Jabbar
Jefferies (13.6), former Bishop O’Reilly High School standout Chris Guido
(13.3) and Leon White (12.6).
“With nine players on the entire roster, the lack of depth is our major
concern,” said head coach Scott Miner, “Still, we are looking to improve on
last year’s record (9-13) and try to sneak into the playoffs.”
Miner, in his third year, has a 19-23 record.
Edner Auguste leads the team in assists with 6.5 per contest and Patrick is
averaging 11 rebounds a game.
Coughlin’s Rob Yuhas is also on the Mountain Lion roster.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre returns to action at 1 p.m. Jan. 15 at the
University of Scranton.
